MY PASSION FOR THE PERFORMING ART
I love the art of performing so much that after directing and producing many award wining films and managing amazing talents, I felt that I could help many more to grow and eventually book that amazing role by coaching for self-tapes auditions.
The world is digital now, and 99.99% of all auditions are requested for self tapes. Even the ones that offer in-person Zoom auditions, more often than not, are very difficult to find a spot in the busy Casting Director's schedule, so you are left with only 1 choice but nail the audition on your own. The problem is, talents are creative people who needs some background and directions to create a character (let's not mention about technical problems that is also the responsibility of the talent when he/she is producing hers/his own tape). Yet, Casting Directors tend to send to producers and directors the tapes they find the best on the first try. We rarely see call backs nowadays too. Which means, if your self tape is not what they are looking for, you are done (at least for that role).
My objective is to help talents to find the character on the sides provided, get them to feel the role and then perform the best they can, so that their self-tapes become in a competitive level of the industry market.
As a manager, I always say, it is not about getting the role you auditioned for, it is about delivering an unforgettable performance that will impress casting directors, producers, and directors.
